Top holdings are a portfolio's largest individual positions, measured by current market value. They show at a glance where a manager's strongest conviction sits and are usually the starting point of any qualitative 13F analysis.
On Whaleboard the top ten holdings per quarter can be viewed either in absolute US dollars or as a percentage of the portfolio. The percentage view is especially useful for comparing concentration and position sizing.
