Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ)
Comparison of a metric between two consecutive quarters.
Quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) describes the direct comparison of a metric between one quarter and the one immediately before. In 13F analysis, QoQ is the most important lens: which positions were newly opened, added to, trimmed or fully sold?
On Whaleboard the Changes table surfaces exactly these moves per quarter, with absolute delta (share count) and percentage change. Buys are coloured green, sells red, so style and sector rotations become visible at a glance.
